This page explains our approach to responsible play for the Acto Rummy app, developed and published by DeniDeveloper India, operated by Deniotech Solutions Private Limited (“the Company”), registered at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh 201001, India.
1. There are no monetary stakes — at all
Acto Rummy is a free practice-only card game built to help you sharpen rummy skill. To be completely clear about what the app is not:
- You cannot deposit money. The app has no payment system.
- You cannot wager or bet anything. There are no stakes on any hand.
- You cannot win money or prizes — no cash, no vouchers, no goods, nothing of value.
- You cannot withdraw or cash out, because there is no balance of any kind.
- There are no in-app purchases. Nothing in the app is for sale.
2. A game of skill, not chance
Rummy is widely recognised as a game of skill. Success depends on how well you build sequences and sets, which cards you keep or discard, and how you read the play — not on luck alone. Acto Rummy exists so you can practise exactly those skills in a setting where nothing is at stake. Improvement comes with thoughtful practice rather than with playing longer.
3. 18+ — who this app is for
Acto Rummy is intended for adults aged 18 and over, and is not directed at children. We hold this position because of the card-game theme, even though the app involves no money, no wagering and no prizes. You must confirm you are 18 or over to use the app, and we will close any account we learn belongs to someone under 18.
If you share a device with children, please use your device's own parental controls and keep your OTP private so that your account cannot be used by a minor.
4. Keeping play healthy
Even with nothing at stake, time can slip away. A few habits that help:
- Decide how long you will play before you start — and set a timer on your phone to tell you when you have reached it.
- Take a break every 45 to 60 minutes. Stand up, look away from the screen, stretch.
- Do not play to escape stress, low mood, loneliness or boredom. A game is a poor substitute for rest or for talking to someone.
- Do not let play displace sleep, meals, work, study, exercise or time with the people around you.
- Avoid playing late at night or when you are very tired — it is easy to keep going far longer than you meant to.
- Do not play under the influence of alcohol or anything else that affects your judgement.
- Keep it in proportion. This is practice for a card game — it is meant to be a small, enjoyable part of your day.
5. Signs it may be time to step back
Ask yourself honestly whether any of these sound familiar:
- You regularly play for much longer than you planned to.
- You think about the game when you should be concentrating on something else.
- You have missed sleep, meals, work, study or commitments in order to keep playing.
- People close to you have commented on how much you play.
- You feel irritable, restless or low when you cannot play.
- You use the game to avoid dealing with something difficult.
- You have tried to cut down and found it harder than you expected.
If several of these ring true, treat it as a signal worth acting on — not as a failure. Reducing your play, or stopping for a while, is straightforward and costs you nothing.
6. Tools to control your play
You are always in charge, and every option below is free and immediate:
- Set your own session limit using a timer or your phone's built-in screen-time and app-limit tools, which can restrict or block Acto Rummy after a set period each day.
- Turn off notifications for Acto Rummy in your device settings, so the app does not prompt you to return.
- Take a break by simply not opening the app — nothing expires, and you lose nothing by stopping.
- Uninstall the app at any time. You can reinstall later if you choose.
- Delete your account permanently using the steps on our Data Deletion page. Because there is no balance and no purchase history, closing your account forfeits nothing of value.
- Ask us to close your account for you by emailing business@denideveloperindia.com.
7. Getting support
If your relationship with gaming is worrying you or someone close to you, please talk to a qualified professional — a doctor, a counsellor, or a recognised support service. A conversation with family or a friend you trust is often the easiest first step.
Any concern about your play, or about this page — business@denideveloperindia.com
Please note that we are the developer of a practice game, not a health service, and we cannot offer clinical or counselling advice. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
8. Our commitments
For as long as Acto Rummy is offered as a practice-only game, we commit to:
- Keeping the app entirely free of real-money features — no deposits, no wagering, no prizes, no purchases.
- Describing the app honestly, and never implying that money can be won.
- Not marketing the app to anyone under 18.
- Not using pressure tactics or misleading prompts designed to extend play.
- Acting promptly on any account-closure request.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects any of this, we will update this page and the Terms & Conditions before the change takes effect.
